William Emes Hasker (Bill), 85.

Born September 27, 1932 in Richmond Virginia

Died January 6, 2018, Morristown New Jersey

He is survived by his wife, Mariah Chisholm Hasker; his sons, W. Terrell Hasker and partner Charlene Worthley of Aqua Dulce, CA, and Peter R. Hasker and wife Pamela of Houston TX; his daughter Martha, "Margeaux"Johansson and husband Per of Aspen, CO; six granddaughters, Katherine, Rebecca, and Anna Hasker of Houston TX and Isabella, Stella, and Annika Johansson of Aspen, CO and his brother Richard E. Hasker of Ashland, VA.

Bill was a graduate of John Marshall High School, Richmond, VA where he was a proud member of the Cadet Corps (F Co.) He also was a graduate of Randolph Macon College, Ashland, VA.

During a long career with a major oil company, Bill and Mariah lived in London for 9-1/2 years. His work took him to numerous countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. Bill’s final post was in Morristown, NJ where he and Mariah have lived since 1987.

Bill was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Morristown, where he was the Treasurer for many years.

Bill loved dogs. One of his favorite pastimes was walking in the woods with them. After a long walk with Ceilidh, his favorite, they might take a nap on the couch.
